Rick Henry, Chairman, Mississippi Valley Equipment Company
Howard F. (Rick) Henry is the Chairman of MVE. Rick holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Kansas, and has been a registered Professional Engineer since 1985. Rick’s career in the pile-driving equipment business spans 28 years. Rick worked his way up from project engineer to Chief Engineer, on to President and Chairman.

Mike Whisler, President, Mississippi Valley Equipment Company
Mike Whisler, President of MVE continues a tradition as the third generation of Whisler leadership for the company. A St. Louis native born in 1965, Mike literally grew up in the pile driving business, starting 22 years ago as an apprentice welder in our fabrication department. Since that time, Mike has worked his way up through the company, including a five year stint as Service Manager, on to Vice President for 12 years before taking over as President in May, 2005.

Karl Bogle, Vice President
Karl Bogle, MVE’s Vice President, started his pile driving equipment career with Mississippi Valley Equipment Company back in July, 1977. The course of his career reflects his intimacy with the equipment he sells. Following a stint of some four years as corporate parts manager, Karl took on the role of overall corporate service manager. After ten years running service, Karl was ready for the position of territory manager of sales, assuming responsibility for overseeing pile-driving equipment rentals and sales for nine states – N/MO, N/IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, NE and KS. After fourteen years in this role, he was promoted to his current position as MVE’s Vice President. There’s no pile-driving scenario that Karl hasn’t seen, no foundation challenge he hasn’t addressed in his midwestern territory.

Jack Gorzny, Territory Manager/Sales Coordinator
A northern Illinois native with a background in agriculture and construction, Jack joined MVE’s west coast branch in 1980, working his way up to West Coast Branch Manager in the mid ‘80s. Returning to Illinois in 1993, Jack moved into MVE’s St. Louis headquarters as Territory Manager for S/MO, AR, TN and OK with additional responsibilities as MVE’s inside sales coordinator. Jack’s expertise in foundation bidding and pile-driving project planning and trouble-shooting is second to none. Rapid response and close attention to detail bring added value to Jack’s MVE customer base.

John Henry, Territory Manager
As the newest territory manager on the MVE team, John Henry continues his family’s 25+ year tradition in the pile-driving industry. Having been around the business for most of his life, John has literally worked his way up from sweeping the shop floor to managing a five-state territory – MI, OH, IN, KY and S/IL. Extensively trained in pile-driving equipment technology, as well as soils analysis and interpretation, John can assist his customers with even the most challenging pile-driving application. Embracing MVE’s team approach to consultative selling, John continues living up to his family name in bringing pile-driving success to MVE’s contracting customers.

Ken Sifford, Parts Manager
In 1988, while working on his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Missouri at St. Louis, Ken began working part time in the shop at MKT Manufacturing, Inc. Taking part in inspection and assembly, Ken acquired a good foundation for a knowledge of the equipment and their components. In 1992, Ken moved to the distribution side of the business to manage MVE's Parts Department. In addition, Ken assists in the management of the service department involved with equipment maintenance and repair. With many years of experience and customer service excellence as his focus, you can be confident we will deliver what you need, when you need it!

David Buescher, Service Manager
Dave Buescher has been with MVE since 1980, starting as a service technician in the Texas branch and working his way up through the company's service department to his current position as MVE's Service Manager. With twenty seven years working with MKT equipment and other leading manufacturers, Dave's expertise encompasses the complete spectrum of hydraulic and mechanical systems used in the pile driving industry. As our leading technician, Dave is also a major contributor to the continuing development and refinement of MKT's world class line of Pile driving equipment.
